Set your pay and shift. The counter below runs continuously, showing exactly what you have earned so far today.
Everything runs locally in your browser. Inputs are saved only in this browser so the form is prefilled next time.
The running total is your daily pay multiplied by the fraction of the shift that has elapsed:
Earned so far = Daily pay x (time elapsed / total shift length)
Unpaid breaks are removed proportionally rather than subtracted at a single moment. That keeps the effective hourly rate constant, so the counter advances at exactly the rate you are actually being paid.
Daily pay $160, shift 09:00 to 17:00, 30 minute unpaid break:
Cross-check: 210 of 480 minutes is 43.75 percent of the shift, and 43.75 percent of $160 is $70.00. The proportional break deduction and the hourly rate agree, which is the point.
